The Great Intern Get-Together is an end-of-summer opportunity for both interns and their mentors from the Twin Cities tech, interactive and design communities to unwind and celebrate together as we recognize the importance of interns. Expect a casual and festive atmosphere, free (deep-fried) food, and first-hand presentations from local interns detailing their internship program and work experience.

Come hungry when doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a state fair themed smorgasbord of corn dogs, deep fried treats, all-you-can-drink milk and a Sweet Martha’s Cookies eating contest. Guests are invited to hang out and connect with fellow interns in the community while mentors can expect to learn about other internship programs and ideas for enhancing their own offering. Around 6:45 we’ll move things to The Grandstand (Nerditorium) for presentations from interns at Martin | Williams Advertising, Carmichael Lynch, OLSON, Pixel Farm Digital and The Nerdery.

Additionally, The Nerdery will be providing an exclusive opportunity to pre-apply for our 2013 summer internship program and talk to our Nerd Hunters about full-time positions.
